Two kinds of flip
Upside Down rotates the whole line by 180 degrees: letters are flipped and the order is reversed, so the text reads correctly if you turn your phone over. Invert flips each letter but keeps the order, the way the Fonts & Tags keyboard does it while you type.
There is no true upside-down alphabet in Unicode. The generator uses look-alike characters from other alphabets and phonetic symbols, such as ɐ for a and ʇ for t.
Limits
A few capitals, such as B, D and R, have only rough look-alikes. Letters of other alphabets stay as they are.
Questions
How do I flip text upside down?
Type your text and copy the Upside Down result. It already reads from right to left, so it looks right when turned over.
Can I turn upside-down text back?
Paste it into the box: the flipped letters turn back into normal ones where a pair exists.
