Frequently asked questions

What happens to deleted photos?
They go to iOS’s standard Recently Deleted folder for 30 days. You can restore them with one tap within that window. iCleanse doesn’t delete files directly — it moves them to the system trash.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. All analysis runs locally. Internet is only needed to download the app itself or to sync with iCloud, if you choose to.
What data do you collect?
None. iCleanse has no analytics, no ad SDKs, no trackers. We don’t see your photos, contacts or events — everything stays on device.
How do I cancel a subscription?
iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → iCleanse → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Could I lose something important?
No. iCleanse never deletes automatically — it only shows candidates. Even after you confirm, files first go to iOS Recently Deleted for 30 days.
What permissions does the app need?
Photos access — to analyze your library. Contacts / calendar / reminders — only if you use those modules. All permissions are optional and grantable one at a time.
